We attacked the ugliest part of the house last weekend, the kitchen. We came across a color we liked at Lindsey and Greg's house that was part French Blue, part Cuban green. The cabinets are cheap and needed a make over and thought we'd give it the French/Cuban treatment. Amanda was a trooper and painted the whole kitchen Swiss Coffee white. It really cleaned everything up and made the ceilings a bit taller and took the natural light in.
Luca has been making himself really comfortable in his new house.
As you can see, there's a huge difference removing the coverings from the window along with the white paint.
Vintage Barber sink getting shipped to be refinished. This will go in the half bath downstairs.
The rumors of the restoration of the St. Roch Market was the deciding factor in buying on this street. I was beginning to think it was all talk but on Monday morning Amanda caught a work crew in a wheel barrel parade.
